"DREAMING IN DA LAT" - HAUS DALAT

A dream awakened amidst the misty city…

“Mơ Giữa Đà Lạt” (Dreaming in Da Lat) is an artistic construction hoarding project conceptualized by HAUS Dalat and produced and executed by TOP Group. It is located near Xuan Huong Lake—the very heart of Da Lat city.

Far more than a mere construction barrier, “Mơ Giữa Đà Lạt” was created as a novel experiential space blending light, flowers, and emotion—a first for Da Lat. Here, a standard hoarding was transformed into an iconic illuminated art installation.

Despite the tight schedule from initial sketches to actual construction, the project was guided by a consistent philosophy: every detail had to be beautiful enough to become part of the city's collective memory.

By day, the garden comes alive with a vibrant palette of flowers and artistic architecture. At night, the space transforms into a shimmering, magical realm thanks to a sophisticated lighting system programmed to timecode sequences. This creates a unique destination that draws crowds of locals, as well as domestic and international tourists.

Although the project timeline was compressed, the design and construction teams meticulously attended to every detail—from 3D perspectives and pastel tones to individual flower clusters and LED light points. The goal was to evoke an emotional atmosphere that is simultaneously ethereal and warm, reminiscent of the misty, glowing lights unique to Da Lat.

“Mơ Giữa Đà Lạt” quickly became a favorite social media “check-in” spot, garnering hundreds of thousands of interactions. It stands as a testament to the allure of a space framed by colorful floral fences—perfectly embodying the romantic and elegant spirit of this city, which boasts a history spanning over 130 years.

More than just a decorative installation, “Mơ Giữa Đà Lạt” represents the convergence of art and speed, local identity and contemporary creative vision—a testament to how, when emotion and conviction are infused into every detail, a space can transform into a living dream in the heart of the city.
